AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER - HOW DOES IT FEEL?

Autism Spectrum Disorder enables teachers to explore difference and diversity through clear explanations and photographs. Children are provided with a model of the behaviour someone with autism may display along with strategies for understanding and managing behaviour. Strengths and certain abilities those with autism may also display are also highlighted.
 
The text and photographs provide a realistic, non-confronting, and supportive view of the behaviours associated with autism spectrum disorder for those children and families experiencing it, and for those parents and children who may not have yet encountered someone on the spectrum.
